Great for my grandson who has long wide feet with a high instep. He has no problem with this style snd is very comfortable which makes me happy.

There is little to no padding in the heel /ankle. Two days after wearing them my son had raw red marks on his ankles.

Not made like others that I’ve bought of New Balance. These seem cheap, and the velcro strap doesn’t even fit all the away across foot and stay velcroed.

It’s so hard to find extra wide shoes for my son and especially in colors appropriate for his school uniform. He loves how easy they are to put on. He’s finally confident getting shoes on by himself!

These are poorly made shoes. The stitching on the toe and the Velcro strap started to come apart a few weeks after they were purchased and 3 months later they are unwearable.

Our son has wide feet so it’s hard to find shoes that fit and comfy. He loves these and asked for the next size up when his feet grow.

Velcro strap too short for extra wide shoes and will not stay fastened. Unfortunately could not return and had to buy a second new pair of shoes.

My kid likes all red shoes so our choices are limited but these were perfect. We have done other brands in the past but they fall apart quickly and hold smells. I would recommend these.

If you’re kid has a wider foot – or square shaped! This shoe fits very comfortably and the velcro is long enough to reach across the top of the foot. My son’s foot isn’t extremely wide but when he wears a regular width, the velcro/laces are a bit short to stay tied. This is our 4th pair of New Balance Fresh Foam shoes – they work and hold up to a daily beating from the playground!

My daughter has semi-wide feet. Unfortunately, the W width isn’t exactly what you would normally consider wide, but fortunately, they are comfortable for her! True to size, otherwise, and super comfortable! Great support and enough cushion. She normally uses for PE, but is a great every day shoe.

For my 10 year old son that hates any footwear that has laces and also has wide feet. I ordered him a 6 1/2 wide. He loves these sneakers and said they are very comfortable. Perfect all black sneakers to go with his school uniform.

Bought these for my son as school shoes. Unfortunately after wearing them during his first day of school he complained that they hurt where the collar of the shoe comes in contact with the outside of the foot when closing the strap. The tongue, being too narrow, does not provide padding for the foot. He does not have a wide foot that would cause the collar of the shoe to close outside the limits of the tongue.

The only reason I don’t give this a full 5 stars. The velcro isn’t long enough for kids with extra wide feet. Even when you buy it extra wide. I have always bought New balance because of them being extra wide. I only got these because there were none in my sons sizes. I have had to add longer velcro to make these shoes work. Just FYI

I’m rating this low because the strap isn’t big enough. This was true for 2 different kids with wide feet. I fought to make it work as the same style with shoe strings was out of stock. I wouldn’t ever buy these again because of the strap. Only getting the ones with strings. Otherwise they hold up they don’t get wholes in them.
